Foundry: Inspect Object bug

I'm having problems using the "Inspect Object" objective on the Story tab. When I try to play the mission, the "Inspect Object" automatically completes. Also, even though it auto-completes, I don't get the "Item" that it is supposed to drop.

It appears that a few others are having this issue as well. Here's a link to the thread we started. It contains more details.

    I have this issue too. I want the player to find a specific object, but the player does not get the chance to find it, because the next quest objective is already active.

    I've had the same problem --- I eventually had to scrap the idea and move the quest to an NPC instead to progress the story.
