I think I worked out the major kinks and this is ready to open up. Feedback is welcome.

The Illithid have taken over the ancient Arcane Library of Neverwinter. Allizandra, the caretaker of the Arcane Library has hired you to recover the legendary Book of Planes from the Illithid before the Astral Gate lets in any more extraplaner creatures! The place is crawling with rogue planetravelers, elementals, and Illithid. You must hurry!

> This adventure lasts around 20-30 minutes.
> Mix of story and combat
> Fantastic environments and creatures
> There are a few challenging fights, so bring potions or a friend.

    Happy to check it out. Newb question... how do I search for a quest in review? Its just a massive list for me - I can't search on name or quest-code. Scrolling takes forever. Any tips on finding in-review quests?

    Try searching on the 'best' panel - they don't have a search filter on maps in review.

    It was clear you put a tremendous amount of time into your environmental detail. Some of the best I've seen yet.

    Good quest. However, I had to quit at the end. The Mastermind and 2 Illithids one-shot me every time. Lvl 60 DC here.
    Love the customized environment though. If you're encounter stacking, please remove one. It's really hard to solo it as a DC.
    Let me know when you've fixed it and I'll rerun.

    Appreciate a review of my quests below (or just the Amulet of the Shining Sun if you don't have the time to do all. Cheers)

    We need tools to edit the difficulty of encounters!

    You can sort of get around the problem by adding another, inaccessible room nearby, and have the Infiltrator(s) spawn in the inaccessible room. However, if any objectives are tied to that spawn, you'll need to add sufficient friendly Guard encounters in that room to ensure those Infiltrators (i) die; and (ii) die quicker than the player can kill the Mastermind, so that the objective completes seamlessly.

    cudd1y did you ever get a chance to play through?

    Regarding the encounter difficulty, unfortunately the Mindflayer Mastermind encounter options are limited. They are only in a group and only hard. Which is fine for a "boss/quest end" usually. The problem here is at low level they are toned way down and at high level they have stun and similar powers that can make the high level version really hard solo.

    So in the reviews some are mentioning it was relatively "easy" solo and it appears at level 60 it's "hard or very hard". I agree with dungeonmaster323 we need the ability to modify encounters (maybe in some kind of advance mode).

    Ran with my foundry alt and works well for lowbie. Fun quest and good dialog.

    Actually, the Wanna Dance got me to thinking about my own dialogs. I tend to be so focused on story that humor does not really come into play. You proved that you can have some humor, and you did it without even getting Out Of Character..

    I've played the quest and gave it a good rating, but not b/c of the environment. 90% of the environment is the pre-baked Cloak Tower map. He didn't design it. The story and encounter were very cool though, and worth the play.
