Trying to update the launcher. Please be patient.

This is what I get when trying to open the Neverwinter launcher, it worked fine last night.
"Trying to update the launcher. Please be patient." It shows it attempted 5 times then states there is a connectivity issue. I tried running it as admin, opened it from the original file and not the shortcut, ran the original file as admin, found a thread here that linked a fix to download a new .exe file but the link didn't work for me. The PE support page also won't load. Maybe there is something I missed, or another link, I couldn't find one.

    having the same exact problem here...

    game was working fine 7 hours ago when I logged...wake up to this <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font>.

    It works now, maintenance I suppose? I didn't see any signs of that, whatever though, it works now.

    well idk if this is what fixed the problem but I no longer have this launcher issue.

    I'm using Win7
    Start>Run>cmd
    type in:

    tracert 208.95.184.176 and then let it trace the route. or
    tracert patchserver.crypticstudios.com

    after I tried both of those...I opened the launcher and it loaded....cause and effect or pure luck idk
