Quest title: A small dwarvish grudge

My first little adventure, hopefully the first of many. Please enjoy.

Fixed broken sound cues in the estate approach.
Changed the overly long names in some of Gaddi's Dwarves

Ver 1.21
Fixed the event the 2013-06-13 patch broke.

Ver 1.2
Fixed the last of the raiders using the wrong costume by giving them another wrong costume, but one that looks appropriate.
The fairy dust trail now works after you pick up the remains.

Another round of spelling and grammar fixes
Clarified Sir Maxwell's info dump to clarify what he knows and doesn't know.

Metalsmith Courtyard Upgraded. New encounter types, new events, dialogue added.
Non-wandering rats in Metalsmith Courtyard now wander.
Decorations added to Merchant's Quarter.
Added a followup to the much forgotten Manservent of Sir Maxwell.
Spruced up Gaddi's Ironworks again.
More ambient dialogue in Sir Maxwell's estate.

Ver 1.07
Refactored the trip to Protector's Enclave in the middle of the mission. There is a rare bug where entering Protector's Enclave would cause the game to forget the player has the mission. Since I can't fix a bug on Cryptic's end, I just have to avoid trips to the Enclave. Mission now leads to a custom map: Protector's Enclave - Merchant Quarters
Removed the Office of the Scribes. With the merchant guild rep in his own custom map it was no longer needed.

Ver 1.06
Added an abort exit warning to all abort exits missing the warning.
Fixed some incorrect names for the (spoiler) encounters.

Ver 1.05
Yet another pass of spelling corrections. Will my errors never end?

Ver 1.04
Finally figured out to fix that annoyingly hard to target transition into the metalworks.
Changed the backdrop in Metalsmith Courtyard to match the impossible to remove thunder sounds.
Added more doodads to the second pass of Metalsmith Courtyard

Ver 1.03
Fixed the incorrectly handled door to Sir Maxwell's Basement.
Added an abort warning to the abort exit in Sir Maxwell's estate.
Added the missing labels on the skeleton and tomb.
Finally killed the last of erroneous "press F to go to next map" bugs, I think.

Moved final chest to prevent a weird bug making the chest inaccessible.

    I was playing through this and I was at the part where you return to the enclave and then something weird happened. I went through the portal and the quest disappeared. Now I can't abandon it to restart it and there's nowhere for me to go.

    @slaidz: I haven't played this yet but it sounds like a know bug "you have to exit the game and relaunch/ log out till it reappears"

    @eulerdmoogle: to fix this bug, you cant travel to (Cryptic) maps after you've sent the player to a custom map.

    I just redid the quest myself on the live server and discovered that the returning to protector's enclave isn't as serious as I once assumed. It's a display bug. The quest is still active, it just forgets for a moment that you have it active. I was able to walk up and talk to the Guild rep just fine. (edit:) I spoke too soon, I can talk to the guild rep, but I can't advance the quest. Oh boy, I guess I'll have to bite the bullet and refactor this quest step after all.

    It's making me reconsider parts of my next mission, where I have people checking various contacts in PE. I'm probably going to have to move that to it's own map as well.

    as long as you do that first "before sending the player to a custom map" it's ok it should work. it only happens when you go to a [cryptic] map after a custom map.

    I had fun on this quest. It was the perfect size and it set things up for the future. The difficulty was very finely balanced with the first two boss battles bringing me very close to death, but the last one was fairly easy. You could tell that quite a bit of work was put into it from the amount of polish.

    My main problem was the dialogue. Personally, I like good dialogue and I think you could have added some more options. Though, it's your quest so you obviously need to do what you think is right. But yeah, the dialogue is really the only thing keeping this from being a 5/5 for me.

    I understand completely. This was my first quest and a lot of it revolves around just seeing what I can do. So is my unpublished second one really, but now I know far more tricks than I did with my first one. I've still got a couple of updates to do with this one before I put it to bed. Minor bugs fixes as they crop up plus some additional decorations.
