Peanut Labs - No Support

edited May 2013 in General Discussion (PC)
I understand that this may not be the correct place to post this, but I am left with no other ideas about how to correct this.

I completed an offer on Peanut Labs for free zen almost 2 weeks ago. After 24 hours of not only no zen, but my offer still being marked as "Opened," I started a ticket through their support system. Within 3 hours, I received an automated response informing me to allow them another 24 hours to follow up with me. 10 days later, I am still awaiting a follow up. I have updated the ticket several times (usually every couple of days) to let them know that I still do not have my zen, nor have I received a response from them.

What do I do? Do I send in another ticket claiming that their ticket system is broken and hope that gets a response?

I am a F2P user, and this is one of the only ways I can earn enough Zen to make the game more enjoyable (more bank space and a powers respec token specifically).

Let me reiterate the fact that this was an offer and not a survey, since I keep getting replies that are geared towards survey completion.

I'm thinking PWE needs to hire more people to answer the questions of folks who will never spend any money? are you serious?

Funny, you just answered my post for free.

The point is that I feel lied to and taken advantage of by a company that is supported by PWE, and by extension, PWE. Why would I even consider giving money to PWE when they direct its users to a company that promised me something in exchange for personal information, and then not only fails to make good on that promise, but also refuses to have a dialogue with me?

I did not answer your post I responded, the only reason I responded is I was dumbfounded by the phrase "I'm a free to play user"

Don't offer it if you can't support it.

That's a pretty simple phrase to be dumbfounded by.

PWE does not provide support for Peanut Labs, unfortunately. So leveling blame at PWE for the troubles of PL is pointless.

Not entirely. If your auto mechanic constantly referred you to a body shop that did not fulfill their promises, what would you think of your mechanic?

It's the fact that they choose to do business with a company with such poor customer support.

Be that as it may, I don't think PWE can do much to assist you, and it would probably be an issue requiring a billing support ticket in any case (as this is pertaining to ZEN issued to your account, regardless of means).

They may or they may not. I have no idea how much influence PWE has over Peanut Labs, but I'm assuming that if Peanut Labs gets enough complaints by PWE users, then PWE may drop them. If PWE forum users see enough people complaining about Peanut Labs, less users will complete the offers.

I buy my zen from PW directly , so no problems for me. That being said, if you are going to partner with another company then you must be prepared to be held accountable for that company's practices. By being a partner, you are held directly responsible for the actions of the partner.....period. PW receives revenue from Peanut labs. They are responsible for the impact that partnership has on their customers.

I shared this last night on another post. Look, the surveys work. There support at PL may not be stellar, but it also works. It may take time, but it works. Keep in mind its not a perfect system, but because it allows you to make free Zen, i would take it and its flaws happily, but with a grain of salt. Im not making excuses for them, but the Zen flows so freely over there its hard to complain. Unless you spent real money and didnt get credit, but keep in mind, if PL/PWE doesnt get a cut, you arent either, so if there was a technical SNAFU or a pop up block in your browser kept the script from finishing, you may not ever get to get the credit. Did you actually get the PL page that said SUCCESS and awarded you the Zen with the BAD / GOOD buttons? In the end, if you want the Zen, youre just going to have to play the numbers game and crank out as many as you can, right or wong, if you want the free coin, just let it go, its not perfect. Dont cut off your nose despite your face and dont get all bent out of shape over one survey, dude people do like 10+ a day ya know? From Thursday alone:

It sounds like you are saying that because I did not pay any money, then I cannot expect promises to be fulfilled. Promises that had nothing to do with money spent.

It was an offer, not a survey. And it's fantastic that PL is working for you, but 10 days is a long time to wait for any response at all.

basically if you want to earn zen do the surveys, the things that have their own section at the top, not anything below that, that claims to be a survey, furthermore unless you get to the end and it sais 'good job heres 98 zen' you did not complete the survey you were either disqualified or you just assumed you completed it.

I really hope PWE doesn't drop their partnership with peanut labs I got the urge to actually add up all the zen I have earned since I started playing Neverwinter and it added up to about 6.6k it's working for me.

Again, it was not a survey. It was an offer. I've been paid by a couple surveys, but this was the first time I completed an offer (below the surveys.)

A partenership, however, does not mean that PWE is responsible for the support provided by PL, any more than PL is responsible for the support provided by PWE. That was the purpose of my statement.

Let me get this straight. You gave personal information for this 'free' zen offer?

I still think you are trolling. "Complete X offer to receive Y as a reward." I completed X and did not receive Y. That is a promise that has gone unfulfilled. I held up my end of the bargain, they did not.

I would argue that while it may not be 100% responsible, being partnered with a company that has terrible customer service looks bad. Does it not?

Seems like you guys are both saying that these companies shouldn't be trusted. In which case, it only supports my thread. Thanks.

I did a couple peanut labs surveys and I made the mistake of thinking they might be somewhat reputable. I now, on a daily basis, receive two calls a day... one from 00000000 and the other from 951-133-1471. Both are clearly faked C-ID numbers. These calls began moments after a survey, which I was disqualified for so received no Zen.

Best advice, avoid them and work the AD Exchange for your Zen.

That's what I've been doing in the mean time, but I am interested in how to go about getting a response from PL.
