Am I the only one who thinks this is slightly dumb?

So apparently buy buying mounts at 5 Gold a piece you can sell them on the AH for 9k ADs... Why is that even possible? Its stupid to have such an "easy" way to make quick ADs when that's what spamming dungeons and such is for.:mad:

    Why would anyone spend AD when they can spend gold? Seems odd....

    This. also I would rather buy the mount with AD if I can, I spend alot of gold on healing kits and potions at higher levels. AD mostly just sits there until i get large enough amounts to get some key items i want.

    I find getting astral diamonds way faster then getting gold. Some judicious use of dailies, prayer, and Leadership and I can have 9K astral diamonds quick. Getting gold is slow.

    In the 4E source material, how many Gold could you get for a single astral diamond? I think the book is in the trash can over there.....

    I think people are pegging 1g at 1000 AD.

    Is that the starting bid or buy out price and do you know of a horse that actually sold for that? If so, I'd call the seller smart and the buyer dumb.
