My First PVP Experience -- Was a disaster!!

I just had my first pvp experience. I hit level 10 and it told me to queue up, so I did. Love pvp!

I'm increased to level 19, but without the skills. I am placed into a party and there's a total of 2 of us.... I imagine people left? Dunno. The other team is full, of course. They overwhelm us, and that is understandable, considering the numbers. But why was I put into a party like that when I just hit level 10? Who's in charge of this stuff?

However, they had the ability to gain access to our spawn place. Is that legal, or approved? Why is this allowed?

Why did I only have 2 people on my team?
How do they match players? We were obviously outmatched.

Is this what I am expected to experience until I level up and gain better gear and skills? Do I just have to take it for a while? Why aren't we all grouped by level and skill availability?

Just seems like it's not very well thoughtout.

Thanks.

Sometimes people get bugged and dont load into the map. If that happens to me I leave the party or ask to be kicked.

There also is a lot of botting going on in the lower levels because the exp you get from a single pvp match is extremely high, there is pretty much none of that at 60 although you still will get the occasional glory farm bots.

PvP is a mess right now. many bugs, many issues, lot of broken class feats/powers.
Gets worse at lvl 60+, over run with AFK'ers and bots.
Can't speak to any future plans in store for it.

2v5, for example, is a bug where the 3 absent players queue'd up, were accepted, but never got into the instance to play.

At 60 I get a bot/afker like once every 10 games, no way is it as bad at 60 as it is in the lower levels.

Agreed there are a few bots that have made it to 60 and they normally queue as 5 man teams all farming Glory for AD/Gold.

Those games are over in 5-6 minutes and it's free glory for you.

I lvled 1-60 doing almost all PVP, there is some bugs that make it bad but most the time its working well. I just leave or chill and let them get a fast wim, at least try to cap once or get a pvp kill to get some points

What no one mentioned is that pvp is done in brackets of 10 until 60+. This is why people claim so many problems with pvp balance. The difference between fighting a person 19 real levels and someone with a real level of 10. Your going to get steam rolled, usually. But since this isn't a game of kills it really doesn't matter.

At 60 this still happens but not to quiet so much of a degree since a fresh 60 vs a 60 of T2 is going to struggle.

Be aware there is some discussion that PvP was tacked on for the masses rather than a focus of this game. So if PvP is your focus you need to keep this in mind.

Actually it was more balanced untill lvl 60, because even if you are temporary higher levels, gear wasnt much difference, and pvp made some sense (although doing always the 3 cap points thing is boring).
At lvl 60 the true disbalance and how broken the game is started to show. The gear/dps scaling is terrible and ridiculous. People gear up, got abilities to guarantee crits, got cc, while healing and def dont scale nearly as much. So you typicaly get killed in 2 seconds while being in ability lock and not able to even move. I dont know what genius tought of this and how... its like 'hey lets make it so that players get 2 shoted while not being able to move, that will be so much fun for them, and they will enjoy our pvp'! The guy who designed pvp should be fired, and stoned to death. Maybe this is fun for some dps who gets to do nothing, but click 2 buttons and kill someone, but playing as healer i am terribly annoyed with this. Add the broken queues, afkers, and always same battleground, the pvp is pure disaster. You better rethink what you are doing, cause already at lvl 60 there is not much to do, and this mess you made rues out pvp as source of fun at max level too. I am already thinking if its worht playing game where you have nothing fun to do in the endgame.

60 PvP is totally unplayable. The afk issue is beyond belief and the 1 shot kills are out of control. So I would say 60 pvp is a lot worse.

Really? This is not my experience personally. All the afkers seem to calm down at level 60, or maybe I'm just lucky. PvP is still kind of a mess sometimes, but it's much better at 60 than it was earlier. I like it.
