I can understand them making a change to the last boss due to exploiters but was it really necessary to make her nearly invincible? at least let us push the mobs off the outer edges and keep the hole in the middle filled in with the boss only being able to go a certain distance from the middle to keep her from blinking to her death.
People complaining about events with the only mechanic being adds, now here is an event with an actual mechanic outside of zerg the players group with mindless trash and folks claim now its to hard.
To the OP, if you have enough DPS and not being gimp and using 2x DC. Your DC should be able to offtank the drow adds with a CW, or a GF helping with the rest of the group beating her face in, cleaning up baby spiders to stop the "big healing" on her and just ignore the drow adds; because, once you get her health down < 75% she will kill those for you eating them. If the cleric is built properly, and not trying to play heal-bot they can facetank those 5 trash, and in doing so keep the entire party alive with massive "passive" healing from Astral Shield+ attacking and AoEing multiple targets, or you can co-ordinate knockbacks with multiple players and keep them away while DPS melt the bosses face and clean up spiders, but DC offtank = more fun for me being a DC anyway 8).

Beat it twice last night. Once solo heal, once double cleric.
First time while i solo healed it we zerged her. Was easy i died once but was rezzed. The cleric gotta kite decently inside his circle, with 4 dps the zerg should be quick.
Second time with 2 clerics, we.....zerged her. A little slower but with 2 clerics you just can't die it's like impossible.
Done it 3 times in the last 2 days. 1st time with 1 of each class. 2nd 2 TR, 1 CW, 1 GWF, 1 DC. 3rd 2 CW, 2TR, 1DC. It's not all that hard if adds are dealt with correctly and you understand what's going on.

So yeah, get better dps or do it the hard way.
Severely nerfed the spawn rate along with making it un fun by removing all the pits.
Pretty much just a gear check now. Got the right classes gear: win. Don't: Lose.
Lame imo. Previously legit tactics required real skill and was fun.
All they had to do was fix the sneaking into/out of boss room, and make bosses immune to insta death. The other nerfs were in poor taste.
