Known Issues List?

I think it will greatly help the community if the devs kept a "Known Issues" thread that could be updated by them as things are acknowledged and confirmed as issues. Ideally it would also have priorities and ETA for fixes, but I think even having a simple list would be a big step in the right direction. This would go a long way to demonstrating that you hear us and would prevent duplicate tickets from being created for problems you are already working on.

This is the only Beta test I have ever done without a Known Issues list on the forums. (in before the Beta/Soft Launch argument gets out of control).

Please consider it.

+1 Then people won't have to complain about the same thing until it gets fixed. I would say that I do appreciate the work being done and they have already fixed several bugs that I reported. I don't think specifically because of me, but it lets me know they are listening at least.

I'd very much like to add my voice to this suggestion.
About 7 pages of threads a day is just depressing to look at, and doesn't do much to give people confidence that things are being solved. If we'd know that these 7 pages a day are actually being processed and had some idea of which issues are a bigger priority, we'd soon be back to 1 page a day (no more duplicates, stuff being posted in 30 different threads) and we'd feel a lot better.
You could even add a 'recently solved' bit at the end of your list where you move the issues to when they've been solved, and you'd look really good.

The ability scores bug has been reported for almost a month still no feedback. Is these because only few people have these bug?

Great idea, but we would still get 7 pages a day of bug reports. with 90% of them being the same bugs reported. Most people don't read the forum, they just pop in make their complaint and log out again. If people actually paid attention then this would be a workable idea, also it would quickly devolve into just another why haven't you fixed "my" bug yet thread.

Money transactions will start to decline, which may already be happening-see the recently added hireling to the adventure pack.. done to boost it's sales.

Once this begins to erode the profit margin, the priority will shift to adding new content, and not necessarily content devoid of bugs.

A known issues list would only reflect the shift more clearly by showing the more complicated bugs remaining on the list longer. This of course will create an atmosphere of frustration in the player base, bad word of mouth and lashing out on the forums.

I know a couple of games with lists that contain items more than 2 years old. The fixes for those items are obviously so complicated, and the games still run with those bugs active, that the priority for cash overshadows the need to fix them.

A known issue list would be nice for those of us who pay attention. But a large group of people don't and some of those will spam their bugs hoping, illogically, that posting them more often will result in a quicker fix.

If not having the list and not needing to upkeep this list means more resources go into fixing game issues-I choose the fixing.

If the list does go up, I will make use of it so I won't post known bugs, but will resign myself to the inevitable shift to cash flow from game mechanics and quality of life issues, which will be mirrored clearly in this list, and the mayhem that will follow.

    Peace

Seriously, isn't the purpose of a beta to work out the bugs. That's what we are all trying to do in this forum. Please acknowledge that you are taking these bug reports seriously.

Compiling a known issues list would be a great start. It would let us know you've hear our feedback, and save duplicative forum threads. It would help you by removing the expectaion of ad hoc response to individual threads.

I don't want to believe Xenobias' comments, but without any response I might have to.

Not sure whos bright idea it was to not allow new users to post threads, but I'll just post my concern here. I've been trying to login to DND:NW for a good day now and it constantly crashes on me. Literally just freeze frames within the first 10 seconds of the game and stops responding. I can understand it still being in beta but this is ridiculous. Help appreciated! :D

The reason for the probationary period is to prevent spam bots rather than using CAPCHA.
There is sticky that addresses the log-in issue.
