Yes, I know there is already another thread on this, don't tell me I should have posted elsewhere first or whatever the case may be.

The report spammers system is extremely flawed. Although it does work in regards to gold sellers, it is a system that is being abused thoroughly. People should not be able to chat block other players simply because they do not like them and have a few friends who are willing to report someone for spam. This is ludicrous.

Chat is extremely important in this game as it is in most games... Not being able to talk for 24 hours is ridiculous. It also does not help when no GM responds to any tickets ever.

Cryptic, please fix this..

    How ironic someone who has been silenced for spamming is not interested in joining one of the many other threads on the subject but insists on starting thier own.

    Each to thier own, I haven't been muted and doubt I am on peoples ingore list but then I dont spam and am not an HAMSTER in zone chat ( just on the forums :P ).

    Maybe...just maybe your actions have lead to your silencing and some self reflection would be better than another post on the subject

    You are missing the point through and through.

    The point is the fact that I was chat blocked, not for spamming, but merely because some players were mad about PvP.

    While you may be right that I could have posted in one of the other threads, I am hoping that a GM or someone of the sort can finally listen and fix this extremely flawed system.

    Like you said, or attempted to say for that matter, to each their own. If you cannot contribute to this thread, do not post.

    I would like to bump this thread. Hopefully a NW representative can provide some insight into whether anything will be done about this system...
