I am using the Shield skill in PvE. I think it's pretty usefull, doesn't take that much dmg though... Maybe I'll change it later for an attack skill.
Anyhow...
I think it's really annoying that it disappears when I enter a tomb or another playing area (i.e. Protector's Enclave to Neverdeath Graveyard or Neverdeath Graveyard to Clockwork Tomb). It should really stay on when i cast it. Sometimes I forget to re-cast it and I can't use the push effect when I want to. It really shouldn't work that way.
Please fix this.

I agree and on the same line-If I leave a zone on horseback I should re-enter the new zone on horseback.

This isn't a bug, this is a problem with remembering to recast. It's no different than dying, and having to rebuff elsegame.
Why would going through a gate remove any buffs/shield/horse? It doesn't make any sense. I do understand it that it will be removed when I die.
It is not like a big thing. But it would make the game just a little better if this problem was resolved.

Like dameduloc said it's not a bug, it's just an annoyance that it's been programmed that way evidently. Unless one day a dev suddenly says "Oops. Yeah horses and wizard shields are supposed to stay on zoning." Then we can call it a bug.
Either way this is on many peoples lists of "Wants".
