cannot loot chest if interrupted by damage

I was just going through an area, and tried opening a chest. The chest opened, but before I could loot the chest I was hit by a trap. This interrupted me, and closed the chest -- and afterward, I could no longer open the chest again. It isn't the first time something like this has happened to me, but this time I missed out on a blue item drop. =(

This also happens if you self-interupt (even accidentally), you won't be able to re-open the chest.

I've noticed this as well. If interrupted after the "interacting" channeling sequence is completed, but before actually taking the loot itself, the loot is lost and the chest cannot be looted again. This also occurs with skill kits. It seems that the game registers the object as having been looted as soon as the interaction channeling is complete, but still treats the looting action as interruptable as long as the loot window is open. It would be better, in my opinion, if the loot window could not be "interrupted" once it has been opened, unless the player empties it or manually closes it.
