Account error :/

I see the servers up through the launcher, but when I try to log I see "account error", which, according to the knowledge base means "If you see this message on the launcher, it means that you are trying to log in to the game when the servers are not available"
Are they up or...?
Anyone else having this problem?

    Yes, account server must have gone down.

    Yep, Mine says the same thing. Just 2 hours ago I was on playing. Odd.

    Same error. Apparently the account server problem isn't as fixed as they thought...

    Account servers down yet again. (After they seemed to have come back up, guess they got taken down entirely now?)

    Game crashed, TWICE, within 5 minutes, in a PvP match.

    Now I can't log back in, no doubt we're losing that match too, yay. Was streaming as well.

    Like I keep saying, I need to learn to quit this game until the content patch is out and there's been mass fixes. Every, single, day, there's something wrong.

    Try Right-clicking the launcher and "Run as Administrator"
    I did it normally and got the same error.
    Ran as admin, logged right in.

    When trying to log into the game via the Launcher (my internet connection is fine and everything else online works perfect) I get the following error message;

    "Account error, please click HERE for information."

    The "here" in bold above leads to this link;
    https://support.perfectworld.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4192/kw/account%20error

    So I can't log into the game or play. Sent a ticket. Not holding my breath for a quick response.

    Had the same issue, tried the post that suggested opening the launcher as an administrator, and that worked for me. TY

    Just worked on try #5, so apparently it's either intermittent or it took a while for everything to come up from the previous fix.

    Finally got back in.

    Match ended, we lost, of course.

    Go into another one since it didn't count towards my daily.. crashes in 3 minutes.

    Something is clearly broken with the latest patch.

    That's it, done with the game for a while, can't take it anymore.

    This should be resolved and does not require Run as Admin. There was a network hiccup as well as a quick network change to address that hiccup, we are continuing to monitor the issue.
