I'd like to know if quest items are differentiated by their exact names or maybe they have internal number tags like every NPC or detail placed on the map?
For example - I wan't a staged relationship between player and NPC. This should be done with using only one token item in player inventory to not clutter it too much. Do I have to make an item for every stage slightly different by name or description (or icon), or all those items can be identical for player (the same look, the same name, the same description) and game uses internal tags for recognition?
You can use the same icon, and description, but the name of the title must be different for every single item. I don't have accsesto Foundry at the moemnt though so I can't double check but I'm fairly certain. Saddly this makes everything slightly more complicated for making staged relationship and tokens which don't stand out to much, not impossiable but hard.
