Server not responding in Tower District

Well, this is happening for the first time tonight. It's happened several times in the last couple of hours.

I don't experience it anywhere except the tower district, including spammers' enclave, and my internet pages are loading lightning quick, as usual.

Right now, my toon is running in place, with the message: Server not responding (210.0s) and counting.

    try turning your video settings down to as low as possible at the character selection screen then load in it fixes alot of issues. works great if you cant load into a zone also

    Well, I'm done in that zone, so it's not a big deal any more. It's not my video settings though. My computer is well above recommended specs.

    I have the same problem every time I play.
    My internet connection is fine. My computer is fine. I can play all other games that require much more power just fine.
    Tonight, I am being disconnected from the log in server. It's usually just the game server. The chat server is always fine.
    This is incredibly frustrating.

    This happens to me often, in all areas of the game, no idea why. The only way I can fix it is to exit the game completely (just logging out doesn't work) then launch it again.

    It often happens to me when the game is patching, during load screens it will be unresponsive for about 16 seconds but when it patches while i'm in a map it can take minutes. I don't know if it is my internet connection but according to the provider's info (donwload/upload speed) that should be impossible. This isn't just in the tower-district but in all maps (including dungeon's although rarely)

    You can turn off the on demand patching so you dont have to download files in game.

    Other people told me that but I couldn't find where. I didn't see it in the option menu.

    Its on the launcher page, where you enter you info. Under options, top right corner, check disable on demand patching.

    You will have to download a few more gigs of game data though.
