Is it just me or does Power of Oppression stack?

For any who went down the Righteous path.

My current setup is Seal/Brand with me spamming seal like you would spear or sacred.

I noticed something, the little icon associated with Power of Oppression trait, has a number that goes up every single time I hit with seal up to 9.

At Max feating that'd be 5% x9 less dmg that single monster does.

Am I correct in this?

I've noticed that with the Brand of the Sun version of the feat, it will stack the debuff each time you cast it.

I tested it very briefly and found the dmg reduction was actually spamming.

If it works for the Seal version that feat would actually be pretty useful as I spam seal as a normal attack with my build as well lol.

But no idea what to give up to get it........ =/

    I mean 9x5 is what a 45% dmg debuff? That's huge.

single target only though and those stacks disappear fast so you gotta keep applying Seal.

If they stack they might be more worthwhile but I still see the Faithful path as better overall... moon touched & 4th pip are pretty hard to compete with... let alone the rest of the stuff you pick up as you get towards those. Just spamming Astral Shield over and over on a single enemy seems pretty pointless unless it's the boss or an elite and just specing for those alone seems pointless.

*shrugs* if Faithful is the only way to go, why bother having the other trees?

    Exactly.

    Pretty lame.

Same goes for encounters, why have 3 encounter slots when I only get to choose for one of them anyway? (Shield/Sunburst).
