Using NPC's in our Quests...Question

  You can only use the npcs Cryptic provides as choosable npcs, or send the player somewhere and use your own clone of Knox and call him Knox.

  Darn!...ok, ty.
  Is there a way to clone him other than going through all the steps to generate an NPC character to look like him and still use Protectors Enclave for the quest start (for him to be in Protectors Enclave)?

  Some named NPCs are in the Foundry, not sure about Knox.
  
  No, you can't place NPCs in public maps. You can only use those listed in the Foundry.

  Have the quest start with a message from Sergent Knox, asking the player to meet him in an inn.
  Then make Sergent Knox in your first map (the inn) and proceed to explain the quest.
