Developer Recommendation - concerning logging between alts

Dear Developers,

I have a couple of alts and I fairly frequently switch alts.

Could you please implement a 'Switch Character' function in game, or perhaps alter the log out function so that it automatically returns to the Character Screen, rather than going back to the point where I have to re-enter my password.

Just a suggestion.

    Search function, use it.

Use the '/gotocharacterselect' console command and wait 15 seconds, which wastes more time.

Also, this isn't the suggestion forum.

There IS no suggestion forum. So might be nice to have one of those first!

And yes, you can use the console command, but because you have to wait for the timer to run down for it to function, it's faster to log out, hit "exit now" and then log-in again.

He is making a legitimate suggestion without any kind of negative attitude. There is no need to be testy with him.

Not for me since 'remember login' keeps changing the account name to something I've never even used with Neverwinter. Also I don't memorize my passwords since they are pretty complex and I change them every few months.

One of the first things I type on all my alts:

    /bind Numpad4 "gotocharacterselect".

So, I can press 4 on numeric pad to switch alts after 15s. I do wish it was closer to instant though.

that string of numbers and #'s will be recognized as your login.

STO has this function (and logs you out immediately).

CO has this function (but it's flagged as a developer command so the players can't use it - that said, it does work).

NW doesn't have this function (although the /command works, which is nice at least).

And all the same underlying game engine. *shrugs*

Rude. The OP is asking a perfectly legit question and should have been in the game since release as its a pretty fairly basic function in any mmo these days.

But it's NOT a string of numbers. It switches either to my old PWI account name or another account I only used few times in STO. It really doesn't make any sense.
