Complete quests while doing Leadership tasks that reward xp on the side. Quest completion generally gives better xp than the enemies you have to fight to complete it.

Quest completion if you have any left
    Leadership
Don't forget to summon that companion when you invoke
If you're out of quests, use it on your daily foundry quests

I haven't tested this but maybe it's faster to go to a level 50ish area and just kill kill kill

It won't be particularly fast, but if he's done every quest in the game there aren't many options left to him.

Strangely enough if all you want to do is lvl the thing, then go kill ogres in one of the Foundry quests where they are boxed in.
Your xp is pretty limited, but your companion seems to get through levels pretty quickly.
    ...............vote for your favourite expansion..........
"Mod 6. Oh my f****** god. It gutted the game pure and simple. And what wasn't gutted was messed up by the poorly thought out new level cap and equip. The game never recovered from that atrocity".
    ..............not this one then.............

Yup that's what i meant. It's not going to be faster than quests but maybe it's faster compared to running 60 foundry
