No more Savage Orge. Please add some mini bosses to foundry

Maybe there is open topics regarding this and if someone wants me to point me that way I'll be glad to read through. Currently though the large majority of "bosses" at the end of a foundry quest is just the savage orge. Which is the easiest elite mob to kill as his attack animations are super slow.

Now there isn't anything wrong with that monster, but the foundry really needs some tough elite mobs for bosses. I don't understand why we can't edit the difficulty of mobs at all, I mean as long as the xp and reward stay the same what's the problem with adding 20k HP to my end boss?

There is a great thread about the encounters as well as a couple spreadsheets floating around that let people know how powerful they are, if they spawn solo, etc. But the biggest issue I have right now is getting reskinned ogres in things like boars, or wolves and you see no animation and have no idea what you are fighting until *swat*. The ogre is a good fight in it's own right but it is an ARPG masterpiece in that it telegraphs it's hits in directly correlation to how hard they hit you. The light one has no warning the big one with a knockback has a longer warning, etc. Reskinned it only has those if the skin you gave it has a similar animation.
Do you crave a good old fashioned dungeon crawl? One where the dungeon tells it's own story? The Dungeon Delves campaign is just for you! Start with my first release: NW-DQF4T7QYH Any cave can lead to adventure!

Anyone who knows or has seen me type talk or tuning in from out of this solar system knows I have been pining for bosses for a very long time.

    And Dragon models.

    Boss Dragons...mmmm
There is a rumor floating around that I am working on a new foundry quest. It was started by me.

My entire first UGC was 90% done and got scrapped when I realized the dragon model we have access to is the small companion...

Thanks for the spreadsheet of encounters. This will help a lot with setting up combat for my foundry quests. I'm also glad to see I'm not the only one longing for a real boss battle in foundry.

I agree. As of now I refuse to have an ogre in any of my quests. >> I hate seeing every single "boss" as a skinned ogre.

I don't personally care about boss encounters. I'd MUCH rather Cryptic focus on other issues (Quality of life stuff like grouping/visibility/Or functions), more skins/animations (feline attack animations, proper nonhuman scaling), more costumes, etc.

But given how many people care about bosses... I think it at least deserves to be an important item. Just not #1.

I couldn't help but wonder why boss encounters weren't included on roll out. They've always been am intrinsical part of most dungeons since the Jurassic era. Is there some special problem with them that they weren't included? Or maybe it was just "first things first so we can get the game out in a timely manner"? I'm another, to make it short, that is cheering for the addition of genuine boss encounters in the Foundry.

It was explained to us during Foundry beta why bosses aren't included. I'm not sure if we're allowed to say why because of all the NDA stuff, but we were told the specific reason.

Having not been in the foundry beta I would hazard a guess that it's a loot exploit issue. The idea of people making loot runs that includes bosses which typically drop the better loot. Now if that was not the specific reason given, I'm sure in light of the nerfs that we saw come down as soon as the beta began that has become a concern. You have to offer a reward for a boss fight that is on par with the effort, but if that increased reward can be farmed by simply making map after map full of bosses....
