Weird Shadows Issue

I've been playing for awhile and I've noticed that there is a line across my screen about 10 centimeters above my character's head that seems to be the cut off for the transition between low quality and hi-res shadows. I hadn't really noticed it until I hit the graveyard where there are lots of shadows. Is this a bug or is this something that's adjustable? I've tried changing the various settings in the graphics options, nothing seems to fix it other than setting shadows to "low" or "off".

    I am experiencing the same issue, would love to hear a reply. Line of high/low res shadow following my character. Is this something on my end or in game? Is there a setting I can do to fix this without turning off my shadows?
