It has been 4+ weeks since we've been in open beta and I continue to see some of the most BS patches almost daily. When are we going to start see something meaningful in this game? We need content patches and class fixes, I feel like the current design/future content team is being taken away from meaningful development.
Kinda agree it's getting boring grinding repetive dungeons for end game gears over and over again need new content or class to keep the playerbase
The playerbase is fine. The people who rushed to level 60, who have been grinding tier 2 for 3 weeks, well, they're only a small portion of the playerbase, and no amount of content will keep them happy. Gauntlgrym should be coming out soon. They'll probably grind that for a couple of weeks and be bored again. And then complain for awhile before going off to TESO to race to the end there and complain about the lack of end-game content.
If that's how they want to play, that's fine, I just wish they'd stop whining about it.
"Participation in PVP-related activities is so low on an hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly basis that we could in fact just completely take it out of STO and it would not impact the overall number of people [who] log in to the game and play in any significant way." -Gozer, Cryptic PvP Dev
You obviously have no idea how involved it is changing class mechanics and balance. They're fixing things based on easy of implementation, not necessarily urgency. Class balance involves reworking many different things that have to function well together. 4 weeks of testing isn’t nearly enough empirical data to do anything. Stop expecting miracles, it’s a computer game.

Hmm, then how come they nerfed GWF into the ground after last CB, and now they haven't even remotely tried to fix/buff it?
Oh you registered this month, rofl, nvm... Troll on.

This is what bothers me, we have been reporting stuff about cleric aggro and Guardian Fighter's block - nothing done about it. They would rather add in stupid companions for sale then add content to the game. Just terrible,

You’re about as dense as lead. It’s beyond difficult to release balance patches as fast as you'd like them to come. It's significantly easier by comparison to release vanity items as they have no effect on game balance at all. Even doing something small like raising base damage on a class 5% could have disastrous effects. Think before you post. They’re most likely testing various changes before they wildly implement them.
Perhaps they feel that the GWF is good where it is right now. Your opinion and the consensus on the forums simply isn't enough evidence to support a change. The forum of an MMO usually represents ~25% of the active playerbase. You don't have access to the same data that they do. You don't know for a fact that they weren't working on a GWF change well before the patch was release. There's way more that you don't know than you do.

Nice speech. But there is a little problem. New players like me, test the fighter classes. And they FEEL they are squishy. They were not implemented in the spirit of AD&D. The developers may think they are ok, but if they aren't ok in the eyes of the players, they will be never used.
I really tried to use them, but I gave up. They needed both more healing potions I ever used before in another game, they had both real problems fighting enemies in terms of damage, or focusing on ONE enemy at the time, the shield of the shield class did obviously not work as intended. The "evasion" key combination with shift of the run moves of the GF is just horrible. Why they did not use the doubletap for them, I will never understand. And I do not care any longer, until the classes are fixed.
