So, lvl 60 is quite the disappointment. Epic dungeons pretty much consist of a fighter aggroing everything and running back to a bridge/edge/etc... and then a CW / Cleric punting them off the edge. There are a few trash packs you have to fight, but most people punt as much as possible.
The boss fights are pretty much just add vomitting bosses that don't do anything themselves. Groups either double up on clerics, throw down two Divine Shields and just AE everything including the boss... or sit a cleric near an edge and punt adds off while everyone else deals with the boss... or just stand on a wall healing where no adds can get to you (yay Pirate!). I've done several dungeons, and the tactics are prettty much the same for every fight... which is just boring.
They need to beef up bosses with interesting abilities, fix aggro, nerf Divine Shield stacking, tone down the add vomit, balance classes, and make invisible walls so adds can't just be punted. If they make these changes, I feel PvE can be good because the core mechanics of the game I think are awesome.
PvP... Pre 50s bracket, I loved it. In the 60s bracket, the damage scaling with gear is ludicrous in comparison to healing/mitigation... they need to implement specific pvp fixes that dont interfere with PvE. Oh...and fix BoE items because I bought my pvp items for like 30g too because there's so many botters that the gear is everywhere... which is tarded.
All in all, great game leveling and pre-60, but Lvl 60 is just blehhhh... there is little thought/creativity in to competent end-game content. The game has great potential, but it's current end-game state is dismal. I hope alot of these issues are looked and and adjusted, because PvE is more of a chore than any actual fun right now.
Keep up the work and get things straightened out for "release"!

I agree with most of this, except for that they add invisible walls to certain boss fights so you cant get rid of adds. and some bosses actually pose more of a threat than the adds do. but only like 1 or 2 of them. more mechanics is needed regardless. An example of invisible walls would be spider lair and castle never.

They can't even code the AH to let us search by level correctly. Good luck in getting them to make these changes.
Mabye players shouldn't rush to the end of a game that is out of Closed Beta less than a month. Playing for 3+ weeks and I am 15th level. Slow down and smell the carnage.

You must be new here. Welcome to MMOs, where people have been rushing to end-game since Meridian 59.

people complain about how a game that is relatively new and didn't have much testing before going into open beta not having enough endgame to satisfy people. if you rush it you wont have fun. fact of the matter is that almost everyone will rush it to see the endgame.
was a bitter disappointment for me aswell, 100% pay to win game... wtf make epic items BoP ! and the fact that there is a party leader in pvp who can just kick people is sooo bad ! it is beeing abused so hard, make a voting system instead to kick the afkers. And as aebrams said, why would you even for one second think about letting the system put together a party for an epic instance without a healer.. Really?

I usually agree with this sentiment... but I followed the main quest line for about an hour or so a night, then did my pvp dailies, mixed with random prayers to gods here and there... and I just hit 60 last night...
What are you doing, killing one NPC an evening the spending the rest of the night contemplating it's death?

I smell bull****.
There is more to the game than just leveling. more to it than doing quests. people aren't focused so much on leveling up as learning the game and seeing what it has to offer. though that depends on their personality. the game itself has a 30-40 hour leveling play time from 4-60 if you do quests/pvp/foundry. that doesn't mean that's the whole game.

True, my /played is just over 3 days time played. Now I'm hard core crafting and PVP ( when it's not filled with bots. )
But mathematically speaking 1-15 in 3 weeks it illogical unless the person is simply just not playing the game... which his original point was to slow down... when his actual suggestion should have been "don't log in at all".

no rush... no exploit... no bug...
I just completed ALL the quest in the game... I played with a friend... that made it so much easy and fast to completely clear a zone that we reached an avarage of 10 lvl per day by plaing only 3 hour per evening... got 10 additional lvl per day dring WE (since we both got to play a bit more due to not having to work)... result... 1 char to full lvl and all lvling content (except dung... only made 3 of them due to passing from elegible to not eligible in the time necessary for the queue to pop up... -_-' all dung are avaible only for a really short level span and as said when u cover 10+ lvl in just 3 hour u pass 2 or 3 dung in those 3 hours... and queue for mid lvl dung can take more than 1 hour... -_-') in less than a week (actualy 6 day or 4 if u include the WE)...
this is not a metter of rushing... skipping content... looking for the fastest way to lvl up... we simply did what the game give us to lvl the standard way... QUESTING!!!!! the fact is that questing is EASY and FAST... and if you do it with a 2nd player it become TOO MUCH easy and TOO MUCH fast... but this is actually an MMO... so it is MEANT to be played with other player... -_-'

So is D&D and it took me 5+ years playing 6-8 hours 2x a week to make 40th Level. That was epic. That was hero building. The Canon heroes took years... even decades to become the legends they were at 1/3 the level of us PCs in this MMO. I have completed only a few adventures an I am Higher level that Wolfgar!

I feel u... I regulary play RPG (just the last week we concluded a campaign of L5R that lasted for almost 2 year... if I compare that character to my CW or GF (both lvl 60 in full t2 equip...) he is just a newbe... same can be said with all the D&D charactr that I've played over the last 2 decades (started at around 12 and now I'm 31...)... the higer lvl character I ever played was in AD&D... I played that char for at least 4 years... and he was just about to move to the epic side of the game... that is what my 2 char in this game are running regulary every evening... -_-'
Just wait until all you have left is to get you're Castle Never gear. Everyone qq's if you don't do all the shortcuts correctly and skip to the last boss. It's annoying.

Yea, this just reeks of bad programming...

Better check your stove, you may be burning your hamburger.;)
My office doesn't have a stove, but nice crack at attempting to figure out my career. Enjoy your PTSD.

It was about the smell of BS you mentioned.;)
You do realize you're just a minority of players. A small, whiny minority

Seriously! What's up with people wanting to actually have content in their games?! That's just crazy talk....
