This is my first quest I have ever made after experimenting with the foundry. Please try it, critique it and review, post your maps you wish me to review. I will leave reviews for you too.

I have no associations with other foundry creators, guilds, or anyone on this game. All content is solely created by me, any similarities are purely coincidental. I have no friends on my friends list and don't get to talk to people much in game.

The Ranperre Mystery
NW-DPPHL5SJG

Duration : 30-45 minutes.

Party Size : 1 (2 might work but I haven't tested how the logic would work with 2.)

What makes this quest different?
A solid logic puzzle right at the beginning that the user may want to write down the clues and solve outside of the game on their free time, then come back to see what awaits.
A solid, unique boss fight with experimental mechanics. (This is where I need you guys!)

Almost everything in this is custom made, I am expecting possible bugs and glitches from you guys, I welcome this to help further the development. I would like to think I've worked them all out from extensive self-testing.

On the subject of the logic puzzle, you can solve it with the clues given in the graveyard. You may also choose to partake in additional side quests before you go there to earn more clues. The logic puzzle compared to typical real life logic puzzles is very easy, but it makes it more of a challenge since it is presented on the game.

I love you all, please be stern, but respectful in your critiques.

Just to throw this out there, is it possible to break it into two 20 minute quests? I have a much harder time blocking out 30-45 min to quest over 15-20 minutes.

If you skip the early side quests, and go straight through, it's an easy 15-20. You will need to know the answer to the puzzle though, which if you write down the few necessary clues inside the graveyard, you can figure that out - outside of the game, so you don't have to sit there.
Thanks for the reply. I did try to shorten it, but I really couldn't find any point to shorten , unless I removed the 'semi-cliff hanger'

I'm sorry for not seeing your post on my thread sooner ("Forrest, Grump"). I'll definitely give your quest a spin, either tomorrow or Tuesday, and post my thoughts here.

Many, many thanks for your thoughts and advice!! I'm glad you enjoyed it. The next one is a serious quest, but then I'll be doing the second part of this one ("An Inconvenient Tooth"). Cheers!
