Please change Respec costs

Many players make mistakes when choosing powers and feats during level-up. Many players don't know of broken powers and feats that simply don't work (like Threat-reducing powers for Clerics), and once they find out it's already too late.

It's an insult to see you have to pay around u$s 6 for each respec (or spending a lot of Astral Diamonds), please change the cost to in-game money, wether it's gold or Astral Diamonds.

I know I'll get flamed because "You can buy Zen without having to pay using the Exchange", and while that IS true, you have to get a lot of Astral Diamonds for doing so. And to get those Diamonds, you have to do dailies (which are complicated if your build isn't correct), run dungeons via the Daily Quest (which only points me to do Dread Vaults, which is almost impossible in a PUG and very hard to do if your build isn't right, not to mention the current state of threat), or running skirmishes that do work fine.

Please change the respec cost to in-game gold. Stop farming your customer's wallet by using their mistakes against them.

PS: Yes, I know this has been mentioned before. But I didn't want to stay silent on this one.

Or give everyone a free respec token when they ding 60? I don't overly mind them charging for respecs, however, as you point out, you are learning the game early on and should have at least one chance to make a change once you start to undertand the mechanics better.

    Agreed

Should be a free respec token in the gift you get for hitting 60

A respec token should come in some of the Adventurer's Pack you get when leveling up. Like, 3 or 4 respec tokens on the way from 1 to 60.

Also, having them as a 'chance' in your daily prayers should be good.

But I still insist it should cost gold, or Astral Diamonds. Yes, I know you can respec your feats (but not your powers and scores) using Astral Diamonds, but it's VERY expensive.

    Cryptic 101 :

    1) If you can charge dollars for something simple, do it.
    2) If people complain, promise you will look into it.
    3) Start making a new cashgrab game with the money from #1.

They just want to earn money, and believe it or not, theres alot of people who will pay 6bucks for a respec.
(but alot will use dads creditcard though)

I bought 10 bucks of Zen.
I will spend 900 of it on AD, then keep the 100 in case I keep playing long enough to want to spend another 5 bucks on 500 more Zen to get a respec.

I hope they really do it.

It's pretty weird... most games on launch have things on discounts, this is the only game that has everything VERY expensive from the get on, on launch date.

    Launch? err... I meant, 'beta'.
