Chest Looting and combat

Please investigate the following situation:

Starting to loot a chest and the list comes up as expected normally.
If during the list showing the looting action is cancelled the chest closes, but will not open again for looting even if the items were not taken from it.

This is especially annoying if you are looting a chest and suddenly mobs attack you. If you cancel the action to fight you lose the items.

Thank you

I was about to start a thread on this issue when I found this post. I totally agree this is a bit stupid. You don't need to be in combat for this to occur either. Just cancel the window with items inside and you will not be able to open it up again. Very frustrating when you get a full pack and need to re-organize your pack before collecting more loot. I'm sure there are other use cases where this affects a users ability to open the chest again. Is it really that much more resource intensive to just leave the items in the chest while the user remains in the instance?
