I mean seriously. Is that hard to fix? It may be, I have no idea. The capes have a nice asthetic and I would like to have mine visible. But HAMSTER, it does suck that the cape cuts thru my body to the point I have to turn the visual off.

Fix Please. Or, at least, respond to the issue.
Don't know if you're being sarcastic, but I think they have much bigger problems to fix than clipping capes ...
Yea, happens when I dismount, when my avatar slides, teleports, charges, dodges or sneezes.

Aye...a bigger problem would be cape physics. Females look like Marilyn Monroe wannabes when they walk down some stairs in their Moonstone Mask Regalia or a cape.

eh cape clipping is the biggest issue you see? really? how about fixing DC Threat and GF Threat gen. I think that's more important then some cape clipping lol

I hope they never change the DC threat. It makes sense, and makes healing challenging. Im a DC. I think you may need to L2P.
You should have seen it when the capes looked like they were listening to some heavy wub wubs. But seriously, getting cloth looking right is hard. Getting cloth to look right with as low of a performance hit you can take is harder.
Its certainly something we would like improved, especially the lobster eating bib thing that can happen on mounts.

Really? A lot of people have been saying that. Like what? The capes are an immersion breaking bug. What other monumental tasks of epic glory are the devs engaged in that prevent them from fixing a simple cape-error. But at the same time this post belongs in the 'bugs' forum.

There is equipment with no texture at all. Bracers that don't show your hands. Character sounds being replaced by monsters. An item dupe that they are hopefully fixing tonight. Some otherwise weak monsters become invulnerable to CC when casting certain spells. Not saying all that is more important than capes... just some stuff off the top of my head.
The capes do look pretty bad actually, but until we get per pixel collision in these games (which won't happen for a while at least because it's so taxing from a calculation point of view) there is no way around it. The only "fix" is to artificially angle the capes, which other games have done and it looks just as bad if not worse.
Would be great if the Tiefling horns and facial horns could be magically removed as well whenever we equip headgear. Or at least remove the facial horns whenever we use any headgear...

I dunno that sounds kinda cool.
My cape always flies up over my head when I'm on my mount.
But, it always looks fine in the screenshots, and that's what counts, right?
Anyways, this is really low on my wishlist for things fixed.
The cape clipping through the body looks so dumb...
Good thing I got rid of it a while ago and have updated my gear. Really happy with my toon's look right now. But there's still a clipping issue with the neck area:

Yes, it is that hard to fix. Been an occasional issue in CO since, well, launch.
Doesn't happen too much nowadays now that they moved the 'angle' the cape drapes down (but looks silly sometimes now), but it's still there.

When you say CO, you are meaning Champions Online...yes?
but I like my helmet.
And it doesn't affect the cape anyway.

Oh well, better than the cape and T1 armor look.
