I know this is not a priority as many things need fixed but as a Altoholic it is a real pain in the a!@ to have to re-log into the game every time I want to switch toons.

    Agreed.

As a temporary workaround you can use /gotocharacterselect however you have to wait the full 15 seconds otherwise that too will log you out

(bind to a key with /bind <key> gotocharacterselect e.g. /bind 7 gotocharacterselect will bind it you the '7' key )

Agree 100 percent! I have the same problem with my alt logging in the slow way. Also, add Save/Load character creator appearance, customize our humanoid companions appearance with character creator mechanics, and more armor visuals, please!

Honestly...this is the FIRST game i played where i have to to totally log out to access another character on my current account.....

Please do insert a "character select" option. Weird method is weird^^

You can go to character select by typing /gotocharacterselect and waiting for the 15 seconds. {restated as above} Up to you if that is better than clicking exit now and entering your password. There are times when I wait and times when I don't.

Yeah it's too bad that /gotocharacterselect makes you wait 15 seconds. It's much faster to click>tab>typetypetype>enter>click than click>waitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwait>click. Unless you're a real slow typist I suppose.. hehe.

Yeah when Star Trek Online got the option to go straight to the character select I had assumed they were testing the code for use here actually. It'd be nice to have it added here, and to Champion's Online while they're at it.

There is a way to return to the character select screen. Type /gotocharacterselect, then wait for the log out cooldown (If you click the button, it will exit the game so you have to wait the 15 seconds).

Definitely agree! I will try the /gotocharacterselect.. (why couldn't they make it something short, like /camp? lol)

Yes indeed, it really is annoying to take 5 seconds out of my life to type in my password. :p

You can bind it to a key too. Like example: "/bind F12 gotocharacterselect" (no quotes) and whenever you want to go to the char select screen press F12.
