PVP DEBUFF on GF

Explain please:

-Enter PVP and skills are DEBUFFED (dmg) by 50% when in the mid levels. This means you hit like a freaking HAMSTER. Using every possible ability to gain some dmg, the highest critical available is 3-4k on anvil of doom (which does x2 dmg on a target that is getting x2 dmg).

-Enter with same gear, same weapon (but now lvl 49)....SKills no longer debuffed. My main attack will crit near 1k (before it was 300'ish if lucky)....Using same setup, can doom in the 10-14k range.

WTF PW? I do wonder if this is a class specific bug, my friend is a TR (he likes easy cheese classes), and never went in with his skills doing LESS dmg then stated before he entered the /bg. Why does the GF suffer this same issue?

I was just going to post the exact same thing. When I was 40, I was critting for 3-5k+, and every level since, it has been dropping, with 46 being the worst so far, where I am now critting for 700-1k using the exact same skills.

What I think is happening is that they apply a sliding curve/scale to our abilities to try to compensate for being <max level in bracket (29, 39, 49, 59 etc), but the ratio is screwed up so we are extremely OVER-tuned at lvl 40, and by mid to late 40s are extremely UNDER tuned, and then the only time we are showing realistic numbers is at 49 (or 29, 39, 59, etc). This means currently that it is essentially useless to PVP while leveling at all, unless you are either 40-41, or 49.

If you aren't at the start or end of the bracket with any class, then you are affected by this bug. Doesn't matter what class, it's a scaling bug. That's why some people feel okay, and some do not at different times.

Or it just scales horribly in the mid range I should say, it might not even be a bug.

It's definitely a bug, because you should never be doing *less* damage than you normally would, you should only be doing more, with the increase lowering until you hit max level (29, 39, 49, 59)
