IOUN stone of allure companion - ring slot bugged

Hi,

I purchased an Ioun stone of allure from the zen market and after summoning it i put a runestone in first slot and tried dragging a ring to the ring slot but it won't go in there. I get no red x like I would if I was trying to drag wrong item and no error message.

Has anyone else had or got this problem and any fix? Don't tell me I wasted my zen on a companion that is useless due to this bug...

***EDIT*** Seemed to fix it when my companion got to level 7 by making it idle, making it active again then equipping a ring into the item slot while it wasn't summoned. ***EDIT***

    maybe it is locked.

    it is not locked, it is empty at level 1. it's 1st rune slot and 1st item slot (ring) are unlocked.
    1st item slot unlocked at level 1, 2nd item slot unlocked at level 15 and 3rd item slot unlocked at level 25.

    Maybe it's only ring specific that isn't working? have you tried other rings?

    Tried 7 different rings so far, none will go into slot ;/
