Lunging Strike Guardian Fighter(Bug?)

I have noticed sometimes when I am using lunging strike I end up only going half the distance of the skill and then I am able to use the skill once again in order to go for the foe I am targeting.
The thing is, sometimes I feel like the skill can trigger at greater distances than it is able and I only end up doing half the distance.

    Last 2-3 days I started to play a Guardian and I notice as it getting worse and worse, each time I charge into a mob with Lunging Strike I rubber-band back to the starting point, very annoying

    Yes it does look like a bug i noticed this today

    Been getting this a lot, I have even had mobs escape (Zone events) from this.
