Just tried to login after being kicked for being idle. On 1st attempt, received above error. Was going to contact support but know that can take days to get a reply. Either launcher error or someone trying to hack my account.
Anyone else having similar problems or any admin's able to advise?
if ye cant get it doon ye, get it right up ye!!

same problem here!
what a massive dissapointment, off work just, made the coffee, had a big plan on a gamerday...
this happens to also and my friends. Mine was working fine then when i exit and log in again it does the same error. Im from Philippines. Its already been about 6 hours
ticket raised but no response as of yet. frustrating. very frustrating
The big problem is that support isn't open at the moment, and hasn't been all weekend.
The Community Managers might be here, but they can't do anything. If they flag your ticket, all it will do is look different in the queue, and when Customer Service people "get to work" not dealing with the thousands of tickets they haven't taken care of so far...
Good luck. My ticket was elevated because I had complained about service on here. I got a form letter, and they sort of tried to help. It asked me to reply to the message I got and then I would be fixed. I've been waiting a few weeks. I have replied to that message a total of 47 times, and I still can't log in.

ok. got a workaround. connected internet connection to another external broadband connection via a vpn. This enabled me to login through the different IP. game started to patch. then disconnected vpn. launcher briefly disconnected then continued to patch.
if ye cant get it doon ye, get it right up ye!!

I have not the possibility to use a vpn connection:(
you might want to get a friend or family member on a different pc to connect a vpn to. or try and use your mobile phone as a hotspot. just need enough to get you to login. possibly a proxy server would do

Using my mobile I can log in but when I unplug the mobile I have the same problem. thanks for the advice
I used the Linksys router option #1. Once I finished this, I restarted the launcher for NW and it allowed me to login without the "too many attempts" error. It does however have a gigantic patch. I'm not sure if this is just a regular patch, or something it's doing because it sees my new IP and thinks I don't have the proper info. Anyway, hope this helps.
ok i have a working solution
1. Use a phone or other device as a hotspot
2. Connect to it and launch neverwinter
3. As it begins to patch switch back to your normal internet
thats all i di hope it workss for everyone
