Stop Complaining

Everyone needs to take a step back and remember this game is still in beta. Open beta, but still beta. There will be bugs, that's why we're all here to TEST the game. This is not just everyone's head start.

So rather than crying and saying how bad this game is etc, just report the bug, grow up, and wait for it to be fixed. That, or stop playing until the game is officially released, because if you continue to whine and cry about bugs in a beta, then you clearly don't know what a beta is intended for.

Just wanted to toss this out there, since all General Discussion seems to be is people QQing about this and that. I, for one, am enjoying the game and I'm pretty impressed so far. Of course there are some balance issues and bugs, but as I said, it's beta. Give them a chance. :p

I believe in the state of the game statement it was clearly written that they are treating this game as live.

Right below the picture that says it's open beta. Your source isn't very credible when it contradicts itself on the same page.

The irony is that the guys screaming open beta are quoting the same source.

couldnt agree more, that being said i am of two minds about this because they are taking money i do consider it to be in a live state.

However they are still ironing out bugs.

I wouldn't be surprised if in the near future there is a law passed which forbids companies to charge money in a beta, the grey area is just a bad way to do business.

Maybe some people would be more inclined to "give them a chance" if they were honest and stopped trying to tell us this is open beta, insulting your playerbase's intelligence isn't the way to build goodwill.

    Please read http://nw.perfectworld.com/news/?p=896631

This article should clear things up for all of those that still seem to be confused.

The game is in Open Beta.
    The cash shop is optional.
The Open Beta soft launch has only been live for a month. Obviously there are going to be growing pains.

My advice is this: If you enjoy the game, then be patient and give them time to work out the bugs and issues. If you don't like the game, then please spare us all the whining and complaining and go find something that you do enjoy.

Edit: Constructive criticism is welcome and appreciated. That isn't what I mean by whining and complaining. I think most of you understand the difference.

So... when the game is released the cash shop will be mandatory?

I'm more of a fanboy than critical consumer but "beta" is just a buzzword. If you're expecting some sort of epic release compared to what we already have, I feel you'll be gravely disappointed.

If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it's a duck. Even if you name the duck "beta".
