Oh man you're completly right. This guide isn't complete without aditional tactics to ensure that the party wins the encounter.
In case you (as a cleric) are being focused with a mean red circle, disengage and realocate in another part of the eight:
Now. Just to be sure that the irrational damage the baddie adds will cause you will not defeat you (as a cleric or mage) you need to stand in the happy place of the circle.
Finally, in case that the foes are overwhelming in number, as in any semi-boss or boss fight, deploy your shields in a way that will make even the puniest of rogues be stronger than a shielded GF, creating a "Party tanking zone"
Now, you have all the tools to make sure the GF and GWF are an unneeded and unwelcome addition to any T2 or CN raid party. Godspeed my friend.
How to win vs 2 clerics in PvP: Knock clerics out of circles and proceed to kill them. OR Keep 2 clerics busy by tossing 1 teammate at them and just cap the other 2. Since they can only drop them around every 15s or so if you move immediately after they drop to another point they can't immediately chase lest they be an easy kill. If they don't drop their circles...well that 1 person(TR or CW) will destroy at least one if not both of them leaving the point open for capture. Trying to fight 2 DC's inside their AS is just stupid, it's like expecting a GF to hold aggro in a dungeon.
Outside of AS the DC's bring absolutely nothing to PvP that would beat having another TR or CW taking their spot. Healing you say? DC healing cannot compete against the current burst damage, not even close and if someone gets focused? They are toast heals or no heals..

Solution to diagram is to nerf GWF/Guardians and buff clerics.
