GWF Companions?

So what are the options for a GWF regarding companions? Couldnt find too much info about this subject but from what i learned i figured that allure stone might be the best for a GWF?
What do you guys think?

    I'm having fun with wizard, though you can never go wrong with cleric.

    I meant end game pve companions that gives best possible stats :)
