Arriving at Blacklake you are beckoned by a large but intelligent-looking werewolf... with horns. He explains that there is a large group of Werewolfs attacking Blacklake and when they are done here they will be moving to attack Protector's Enclave. Will you help him or will you turn tail and run away?

Additional Notes:
Right now it seems I have gotten a lot of good feedback in terms of how to improve my map, what I mostly need right now is difficulty information. I wanted to make them a challenge, but I didn't want them to be too easy with 2 people, so I basically am stuck without knowing whether to weaken or strengthen the mobs atm. I would appreciate any solo and duo playthroughs. Any feedback of any kind is welcome, but difficulty information is extremely valued.

I want to finish this map and submit it to cryptic for approval but it's not ready atm with no gauge on difficulty. I also have other ideas and maps lined up I want to start working on, but can't until I feel this one is finished.

Changelog:
Version 2.0 is pretty much a complete overhaul. The original map was a straight forward outdoor dungeon. It had 5 bosses, a story and trash mobs in between with nothing else. After getting some feedback and realizing how boring it was I decided to do a complete overhaul on it.

I ripped out all of the movie references and silliness. I had already made a nice, serious story and it just clashed. I removed the simple trash that was just standing there doing nothing. I replaced it with a few patrols and paced the quest with some light/non-fighting quests and mini-boss segments between each boss. The story has been corrected for grammar(hopefully it is perfect, grammar wise) and the story was extended and rewritten. Some of the joke bosses were replaced with new, unique characters I made and given their own story.

The 2.0 version has 5 Bosses, 3 patrols, 2 mini-bosses, 2 light-fighting quests, 1 random encounter, 2 npc encounters that currently aren't connected to the story(yet, new maps coming one day) and multiple dialogue options.

Version 2.1:
-As per request the bosses(2nd boss, specifically) has been lessened in difficulty because it was more hard than fun.
-The mini-quest has been altered slightly.
-Adjusted some quest text.

Version 2.2:
-All quests fixed and neatly adjusted. (No more "pretend the fire is gone)
-Objects renamed. (No more "Superchest 02")
-Almost complete, the only issue is difficulty, I have scaled it down to a decent setting but 2 trash packs and 1 boss may be a little hard on certain solo classes.

Known issues:
-Difficulty. I know this is an issue just not to what extent it needs to be toned up/down at which points. Feedback NEEDED.

A comment on the difficulty: I tried to complete the quest with a L44 Guardian Fighter, and I felt already the second general was hard for a solo melee character. Too many mobs, even for a tank-y character, and I died pretty quickly (I didn't play further). For two players this is probably perfectly fine, and I think a wizard would not have had problems either.

A suggestion: A fire place at the start.

I kind of figured that. I think it will be more accessible if I set it for 1 player so I will tone them down I suppose. It was really hard for me to test it out with the foundry characters which is why I needed other people to play it.

I must have accidentally erased the starting fireplace. Or it will only let you place one per zone, which is the one I set midway in. I will have to go look. Thanks for the feedback.

Edit: Adjusted. It won't allow 2 fireplaces and one half-way is probably needed, imo. The 2nd fight is easier so you shouldn't need it.

It's pretty much done now. I have adjusted all of the problems related to the mini-quests. The dialogue is worked out. The mob pacing is where I want it and the boss difficulty seems to be stabilized.

I am billing it as a hard solo, easy duo, so the mob difficulty is done, but still would like to hear feedback. It's in full launch state. Hope anyone who wants to play it, enjoys it. I will start working on the second one sometime this week and will probably have it finished and balanced in a month or so. Maybe.

I plaid it with my wife some minutes ago, it was nice and better than the previous versions! I liked that now there's much to do, the interactions with object like waters-bucket-cats-mads is perfect.
I wish that a cat followed me once i free them from the fire, and not to have it in my inventory :)
Some little things to be perfectioned but it's not a good quest, keep it up! (of if you want some new refreshing air, use the experienced you earned with this for a new one, i will play it!)

People hated having things forced into there inventory that didn't matter so I decided to make it a choice. I would have to take away that choice to force it to spawn in and follow you to do that though. If someone says "No" and the cat spawns anyway, it would be a little annoying to some people, imo. If I can make choice spawns, let me know how, I'd love to make it spawn ONLY if someone picks option 2. As far as I can see, it can't. :(

Good idea though, it would be perfect if they allowed me to make choice spawns instead of forced ones.

I played your Quest today and I was highly impressed!

The dialogue was great, the difficulty in my opinion was perfect....

Played thru solo as a level 26 Guardian Fighter with my Cleric companion and the only difficulty I had was with the undying boss had to revive my healer twice on that fight... other then that went thru the whole thing without a death but at the end I felt like it was an accomplishment as the difficulty was way beyond the normal games quests that I could normally sleep thru!

Your also the first person I have tipped and the first person I have given a 5 Star Rating too....

And You maybe the first person who I feel possibly has made a better quest then my own lol.....

lol, thank you. I felt the later bosses had to be stronger and was worried it might be too hard. It probably will be for some classes/players, and I feel bad, but want it to be somewhat challenging. I don't know if you would have hated, or loved the 2nd boss fight I originally had... I had people saying they couldn't beat it at all lol. It had the same boss, but the 2 others accompanying him were zombie spawners that overwhelmed everyone. I spent a lot of time balancing them though.

If you like my story and difficulty, I would say to try Tarum89's above me in the thread. His is also heavily story based and has a challenging boss. I feel his quest was better though and more well paced. Mine evolved from a simple dungeon-like run into a story with some side-quests too. His actually feels built from the ground up as a very nice adventure. Like what you would get in a traditional D&D tabletop quest.
