The deities should actually do something.

As they are the pray system could work without choosing one of the deities. It would be nice if they worked like once a day powers , as in a large powerful attack or buff.

Just wasted potential here.

    I agree. the gifts should be corresponded with the deities powers. Cannot be so hard to implement that. Changing the divine gift routine including a few if ().. statements.

    Adds some depth for a very low price.

    And no invocation rewards for the Faithless! The Wall is their only reward.

    on NWN they do have some effect at the game, and the background story too. but for some reason I think they choose to simply not do this. well, looking how the game full of people whining about "buff stack" I can see why and other still can see the game as D&D either.

    It isn't possible to make a character without choosing a god, so technically there are no faithless.

    Great idea though, don't know why deities are nothing but fluff in a game that is supposed to be dnd.
