Builds, builds builds... what about what I do in a dungeon?

I see the forum full of threads and spec and gear which is very cool and very useful (thank boots they finally put in class forums).

But what about dungeon guides? I may have just missed them, but something that always gives me curry and stress is... do I focus on the boss or the adds? Do I mix it up? Do I stand at the side and dance?

It's kinda weird in that I feel like I should be focusing on the boss as a single target dps. I mean it makes sense. But every time I do that, adds flood the room and most people die, which means I should be killing adds. However if I focus on killing adds that's all I spend time doing and I never get boss and obviously, it drastically reduces the overall damage output with constantly switching targets...

Am I just doing it wrong? Or are the random groups not doing their jobs properly?

pugs are bad, you doing fine with burning the boss.
neverwinter has the worst boss mechanics EVER. most of the bosses are easy exploitable and most ppl do it.
those who dont suffer billions of adds, too much to kill for sure. so rogues, mostly 2, burning the boss, clerc stand s at a save position and the rest of the groups kites the adds until boss is down.

thats how you win 90% of the bossfights. plain stupid and anti-fun.

Personally I never do adds that aren't immune to knockback. A lot of people want to use their knockbacks on CD and this makes it downright impossible to melee them.

Normally on bosses the rogue is best used on the boss.
And I also agree that having all bosses the same is boring.

if you want to do boss and clear ads when they come a good idea is to max your stacks of bleed on the boss, go clear some ads, restack the bleed when it expires, rinse repeat. cw and cleric should be able to hold their own against a number of ads, only leave boss when there's a large spawn such as in the mad dragon at certain health markers. each boss has its own method but most are similar to play. do as much damage to high hp targets as you can and bleed bleed bleed all you can

Don't know if this is a dumb question but how do you see how many stacks of bleed you have on a boss?
