Question about Indomitable Warrior Gear for Guardian Fighter

In short: if you spec into the conqueror tree and get Reckless Attacker, would the set bonus of this gear give you 20% additional power?

I noticed that the set bonus for Indomitable Warrior pvp gear is that it increases your guard meter by 20%. This in itself is not necessarily a very good set bonus, but because of the way it's worded, I'm wondering if the +20% guard meter bonus affects the Reckless Attacker feat bonus.

Reckless Attacker states: you gain bonus power proportional to how much block meter you possess. At full block meter you would gain 100% additional power.

So does +20% block meter equate to +20% extra power in this case?

    Nope. Why would it?

I was wondering the same thing when i saw it.

However, the tooltip of Reckless Attacker clearly states that full Guard gives 100% additional Power.
Assuming that is regardless of wether you have 100 or 150 Guard.

Have you actually tested it or are you just saying that? -_-

It makes perfect sense. "You gain power proportional to your guard meter."

The set bonus doesn't say your guard meter can absorb 20% more damage, it literally says "You gain an extra 20% guard meter." If you gain 20% extra guard meter, it's reasonable to believe you would gain 20% extra power. I'd test it myself but I don't want to buy the set if it doesn't work.

Yeah, but the tooltip could just be elaborating. It's saying at 100% guard meter you'd gain an extra 100% power. So if you gain an extra 20% guard meter, it's reasonable to believe you would gain 20% more power. The set bonus doesn't say your guard meter can absorb 20% more damage, it literally says "You gain an extra 20% guard meter."

It doesn't say "at 100% Guard you get 100% power".
It says "When block meter is full, you get 100% Power".

Guard Meter is just an arbitrairy number. Wether you have 120 Guard or 100 Guard, full is full.
50% of your block is still 50% of your block. Wether that number is 60 or 50 is irrelevant.
