How awesome would it be if they added a competitive PvP ladder and some more map? Perhaps something like LoL has with a solo queue league rating but also a team ranking as well. Is it just me or would anyone else be interested in something like this? I feel playing anything vs other players really benefits from a ranking system because it gives you an extra goal to partake in PvP (climbing the ladder etc etc...)
Two things about that. There will always be a class or spec that people whine about, and that does not necessarily mean they need to nerf it or balance it or whatever. But in case something really is over the top dominant, Neverwinter is in the unique position to balance competitive PvP without hurting PvE easier because there is no world PvP. They could simply make certain moves work differently while in the arenas.
I'm all for ladder and competitive pvp just now while the classes are as they are GWF is cannon fodder, rogues are 1 trick ponys that rely almost exclusive on one daily and CW just HAMSTER on everyone...
There is something seriasly wrong witha class when all you have to do to succed is stack it...
The most op team right now is probably 2 DC and 3 CW hell even 1 DC and 4 CW will do it!

lol yeah from the little I played of the GWF it definitely felt like the worst class (for pvp anyways). But balance doesn't need to be perfect right away, I just find having a ladder motivates me far more to play competitive games. Just pitching the idea to see if others feel the same.
Never good to have any competition when there is absolutely nothing balanced.
Actually it will be freaking good in the contrary, since devs couldn't do anything but to consider, as everyone, how the classes are unbalanced since you'll find all the same 2 classes at top ranks

If you were building a house and, after the first few days, you realised that the walls were wobbling;
Would you continue to build the house or stop building and fix what looks broken?
You could draw the plans for the house aka start building the Ladder System, just to go with your analogy...All the while fixing up the broken parts you plan to use, aka class balance.
