Why does my Foundry Give so little Exp when completed?

I spend an entire 2 Days to make my Foundry to share with my Friends. It's not even a fast Quest, I time it and by the time it finish it take about 20 - 25 Minutes to finish the Quest. I even use all the Mob until I can even place anymore mob. It is similar to that "Draconic Pub" Quest. But that one give around 6 Bars of Exp, but mine give only 1 Bars of Exp when finish? I do not understand this, Draconic Pub have less mob then mine and finish faster but yield more Exp? I do not understand how can this be?

I was pretty upset because I spend so much time and excited to share with my friend and just disappointed and don't do it anymore because it give only 1 Bars of Exp, Unbelievable 2 days of work for nothing.

    Cause one would assume...massive amounts of easy kill NPC in a short amount of time (20-25 minutes) means you would be level 60 in about 2 days amirite? So...its abusable, but you didn't know that did you.

    ya they cut foundry exp alot its almost better to have less mobs and faster run through thats what we ge when people make ogre boxes and such

    Well, Foundry quests aren't about the XP... I have no idea how are they're measured, though.

    I did one yesterday with my Cleric and I progressed half a level, and it was awesome. :)
    Characters:
    - Titania Silverblade, the Iron Rose of Myth Drannor (Lvl 60 GWF, Destroyer)
    - Gwyneth, the Cowardly Cat Burglar Drowling (Lvl 60 TR, Saboteur)
    - Lady Rowanne Firehair, Heartwarder of Sune (Lvl 33 DC)
    - Satella, Sensate (LvL 44 CW, Renegade, Non-Active)

    It's not easy Kill, they are Hard NPC Mobs. And if it abusable and they have reduce the Exp, why does Quest that cram you in a Room where you kill hundred of Mob give 6 Bars of Exp like "Draconic Pub."? That is unfair don't you think? Since this person Quest is shorter, less Mob then mine too. And mine have path going to the next one after the next where this guy just cram it in one room and kill yet we get Massive Exp, the hell?

    Foundry is a let down at this time, for multiple reasons.

    You know, if I was cynical I would think this was just a ruse by a competing Foundry author to get "Draconic Pub" removed under the guise of asking about XP balance for Foundry quests.....

    Leveling is a reward not a goal.

    True for a roleplay game. But in a mmo, this is just not true.

    Considering the OP doesn't tell us what his quest or shortcode is....but only if cynical.....

    I find the foundry to be the best feature of the game hands down. The stories in there are amazing.

    As far as the foundry not rewarding the player with much loot or exp? You can blame the exploiters on that one, creating exploit maps and forcing Cryptic to nerf the foundry shortly after day one of open beta on April 30th.

    Once you hit 60, xp is irrelevant anyway, and at the moment the Foundry is the only source of fresh content (as soon as PWE/Cryptic sort out the appalling lag issues with the Foundry quest selection screens).

    ^XP used to be too high though, you could level through Foundry much faster than through regular quests. They balanced it.

    I still get decent random drops from Foundry quests, some blues even. But one's gotta remember that it's not all about loot & XP.
