GW and GWF

So some people are waiting for them to fix these classes and still no word on it. This is bigger than the AH exploit for some of us. Both classes are fun to play, hell all the classes are fun to play but it is so unbalanced that it is AoC all over again.

They going to ****ing do it or leave it as is? I only expect to play the class in the class description during character creation is all.

    i actually like to run with both a good GF running a dps spec can do really good damage and still be able to tank... also with a couple party cds for damage reduction to the party its nice.. comes down to knowing how to build one.... GWF is poor for soloing but does very good in group settings. We normally run a balanced group 1 of each class atm. the GF and TR on the boss the GWF and CW on the adds and the cleric doing his cleric things! Every class as a role in the instances now the fact that some people want to cheese with 2 clerics 2 TR and 1 CW is mute its a broken mechanic that people take advantage of. I rather see astral shield stacking fixed then both GF and GWF will have a place in every group.

    So because GF and GWF can do well in a group (not doing as well solo as the other classes) the devs should worry about cleric problems?

    A good portion of the experience in the game does not revolve around grouping or instances. That is just one aspect of the game. The experience should be relatively equal among all classes. It currently is not. That is a fundamental game design problem.

    I understand and agree that fixing astral shield stacking will mean the 2 man DC teams will be not as effective. But it is myopic to think that this focused fix will have a greater effect than a fundamental change to class design.
