Did they secretly change threat?

I noticed that it's harder to pull threat from the GF when I'm on my Cleric. Anyone else notice this? Or did I just get in a group with a GF that knew how to generate threat?

Most likely you did end up with a decent tank.

Either that or they fixed the bug where you need to unequip all your equipment when zoning into dungeons to clear the abnormal aggro generation.

GF threat was bugged and said bug was fixed a week or so ago. In PVE, they "sometimes" weren't generating the aggro they were supposed to be putting out.

I haven't played since that whole auction house exploit was exposed. So during that time and now is when they fixed that bug?

Maybe due to some freak of nature, other members of your party actually made an effort to touch some adds during a bossfight?

No, a bit far-fetched. Cryptic actually fixing something might be more likely :)

As a level 60 GF I can say that as of a week ago I was able correctly keep aggro on adds/mobs/bosses I have marked. Even when the "mark" disappears due to me dropping my guard, aggro remains persistent, which is the way it should be. Sadly, it results in me dying to 20 adds simultaneously when my respective TR/CW party member doesn't kill them fast enough, but hey, it works!

GF quality is most variable of the classes in the game. Not only do they have the most complex resources plus Power selection and usage depending on situation, but also the most gear dependency.

And no, Cryptic haven't fixed any of the multiple mechanic and cross-class aoe aggro and sustained aoe threat issues since trash monsters don't count, only boss encounters do.

The problem is the "trash monsters" during the boss encounters, for the most part- just FYI :)

Trash is trash, i.e. outside boss encounters. Also, that's why I said boss encounters not bosses.
