Controller usage and Xpadder with Neverwinter

Recently I've been using Xpadder and a PS3 controller to play Neverwinter, and while I find it to be fun and relaxing, I can't help but worry that Xpadder might be considered to be one of those "automating" kind of tools, and that Neverwinter or Cryptic might frown upon this.

What I basically want to know is... are you allowed to use a controller with Xpadder to play the game? I really wouldn't like to get banned.

You wont get banned for Xpadder because it doesnt interact with the game in any way. All it does is turn you joypad into and extension of your keyboard.

Does Cryptic ban people for using a keyboard? Theres your answer.

Sorry to chime in here but I have a bit of advice, try putting mouse left/right on the left stick and left/right movement on the right stick. then upping mouse look speed to 3, this will allow more freedom of movement with only the left thumb.

Edit: here's the layout I use on my dual action:
