Gifts for other players?

Hey there everyone...bit of an 'inexperienced player' question.

I want to buy my significant other a gift on Neverwinter, preferably a companion pet or something similar. We both have accounts and characters. If I buy, say, the $50 Zen package, then purchase a pet, am I then able to use the post-office/courier service to mail the pet to her account or is it more complicated than that? I was told online that pet purchases automatically bind to the character that conducts the purchase. I was also told the complete opposite by someone else. Someone also said that 'cats' are a special case but he was confusing.

Anyway, any advice would be helpful. Thanks in advance and I hope this is not a repeated thread.:)

not sure with recent changes but with my experience when you buy a pet from the zen store its bind on equip. so as long as you dont use it you will be able to mail it to her (including phoenix from lockbox). even if you equip it there is a astral diamond fee to render it bind on equip again. either way unless if someone has more accurate current information you will be able to give a bought companion to your significant other (mounts however are bound to account). (except nightmare lockbox one)
