Hi I just reinstalled Neverwinter and the launcher crashed again and it turned white and screen popped up saying :
"Cryptic game launcher has stopped working
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."
A moderator told me to download the Neverwinter.exe file and I did but the same problem occurs. It opens the launcher, the launcher turns white and gives me the same message. The moderator further directed me to post on the bugs forum to find a solution. Can someone please help me? Thank you. G3009

Having the Same Problem
no one is answering me on this forum and star trek's to fix it
Same problem here. I've uninstalled, then reinstalled twice and each time it says (null) has encountered an error the first time after install, then it just goes to the Cryptic Oops error reporting. I can't just bypass the launcher with the exe because I still need to download the game.

looks like there are a lot of bugs going without responses right now, including this one...hopefully a trend that will not continue...downloading the game is kind of necessary for playing it, y'know...

i have the same problem and i exit Teamviewer and work OK.
This fixed my problem as well. I closed Teamviewer and my Dropbox just to be safe and I was able to log in.
Also worth noteing that the error message i was receiving was a Null error
Ok, yeah, exiting Teamviewer seems to fix this. For those who don't know how, you have to go to Task Manager with ctrl+alt+delete then go to both "processes" and "services" and exit Teamviewer in both areas.
It's completely ridiculous to have to use this workaround, but at least I can download the game now and hopefully this gives the devs enough information about the problem so that it can be addressed.
I realize this is very soon after "launch", but seeing as how Neverwinter is Perfect World's current main breadwinner, I'd think they'd be more on top of such "unable to even play" issues. I've been with this game for a bit now, but one can just imagine how a new player would react to this kind of problem. At any rate, happy to be able to play your game again (it's good) and hopefully these circuitous methods for loading it up won't be necessary for much longer. Fix yo' shaz!!!
