I am really digging NW. I am taking my time and trying to get immersed in the game. For the most part enjoying myself. One thing that keeps bugging me is that all the companions look alike. I get that there are different skins, but still they all look alike. Could we get the ability to customize them so you get a sense of uniqueness?
The lack of customization is strange considering how great it is in Cryptic's other games.
Player customization is pretty solid, even if it's wildly expensive. There's three spots on most (all?) pieces of armor that can be colored independent of one another as well as the ability to transfer the appearance from one armor piece to another of the same type. Why not allow us to use (at the minimum) dyes on our companions' current "appearance" gear to shake things up a little? Or kick things up a notch and allow us to drop gear into "appearance" slots on humanoid companions, which give no stats, but show up as being worn? Go for broke and combine both ideas, allowing us to change the look of what our companions wear and then color that armor like our own. Think of all the sales they'd make on dyes!

this stood out to me as well. perhaps they simply focused on other aspects? but for me DnD was always about making really unique characters. overall character creation wasn't so sparse. gear on the other hand is disappointing, but this will be resolved with time as they release more skins.
