Can't seem to log back on?

I was tinkering around in the foundry when I was suddenly disconnected. Now everytime I try to log on it just says "Trying to update the launcher, please be patient" and it goes through a series of attempts before it fails. I was literally on about 30 mins ago and now, I just can't seem to connect. Any one has similar problems?

    I have a similar problem. I was in Protectors Enclave at the bank when I crashed after using the launcher issue fix because I crashed prior to this and couldn't log bag in :(. I have tied a fresh install of the game but I still get the same error launcher unable to connect to the game please check your internet connection. Is there a way to fix this problem as I really enjoy playing this game.

    im actully hanging on connecting to login server alot sometimes it takes 10 tries to get in

    don't know if it is the cause but if you based in uk on virgin isp, there seems to be a major routing problem which is causing this . There is a thread in bug forumabout it atm.
