Ghost mode for 3D editing?

I may have overlooked it but...

Would it be possible to enable a Ghost Mode for editing our Foundry quests within the 3D world?

Very often I find my self trying to place an item just right only to either have it our of range of my character so I cannot select the piece or I don't have the right point of of view to be able to place it correctly.

Ghost mode would also save us the trouble of having to reset the map after getting into a difficult position without having to reset the map and make testing for collisions that much easier.

Is this something that could be made available to Foundry creation?

Ghost / flight mode should be added asap, trying to add details on walls / ceiling is a nightmare!

Not sure if you're aware but when in 3D editing mode you can increase the "Edit Distance", really good for those far away objects or the really big ones that its hard to get in the right place for.

Also, if you select a placeable in 3d edit mode (even if you don't actually do any editing with it), that placeable immediately becomes insubstantial, so you can walk through it. That can help you get past the thing that's in your way.

This is both good and bad, as anyone who erects temporary scaffolding for high-up edits surely knows by now ;)

Oh yes! fell down when decorating a ceiling (high cave / crypt ones) many times, due to hovering over the invisible wall i am standing on! Also really annoying if your making something like a staircase.

Ghost mode/fly would be outstanding to have.

Made a 180 foot tall stairwell...I cannot count the times I fell to my doom. I second the notion of ghost/fly

Now that would be very handy, I definitely second that too :)
