Zone chat stupidity

So i was banned from the chat for the first time for saying 3 times in a row i was selling glory.
And i realised that i was also banned from party chat, private chats etc.
So now i can't get any party for anything because of that and i can't even talk with my party which can compromise the dungeons and so on..
So neverwinter made a chat that the only way anyone can see what you're saying is by spamming it, and then if you do spam it, you get banned and can't speak anywhere on the freakin game for 1 whole day.

So here's what i suggest:
1st of all when you get banned from zone chat you should still be able to talk to your party/guild/private. Cause it's completely stupid not to be able to do that..
2nd, the zone chat is just broken, there is no way to make people actually see what you're saying because of the spam. So either you do a a trade/buy/sell chat. or you do it like on perfect world, make a normal zone chat. and a paid world chat. something to make it so you can sell stuff and talk on normal chat without the constant spam..

any other suggestions are welcome

    First suggestion: Don't spam zone chat with three messages in a row. Leave some time between them so it does not look so much like spam and the plus side is that you are more likely to reach some one who wants to buy whatever you are selling.

    Second suggestion: Don't sell glory. You are marking yourself as a PVP afker, and other players will blacklist you for that (whether you are or not, player opinion is against you dude).

    I'm not an afker i just have nothing i want to buy with glory, and is a good way to make some AD.
    and if you don't micro-spam the chat no one sees what you're selling besides the couple of people that are looking at the chat on that right moment.. cause the spam is unbearable

    I didn't say you were an afker, just that you look like one because you are selling glory. Which, if you read the posts, other player assume is being done to get glory to sell. That might be the reason others "reported" you. Selling on a "world" chat is difficult even on a paid world chat. Be prepared to spend a few hours trying it and have a thick skin. Even if you are selling the most cleanest, wonderful item, some people will be total tools (some are to try to lower the price, others are just tools).

    I've sold glory many times before, and never got reported. But that's not even the point of this thread. the point is that the zone chat is broken. way too many people trying to talk at the same time. and you can't read sh*t. because of the amount of spam. and if you want to make your message noticeable you have to spam it, or no one will see it.
    and the ban is also stupid because you can't talk on party/faction/friends... that's completely <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font>.

    What's funny is zone chat is easier to read when people don't spam items for sale.

    Ironic.

    Anyway, I agree they need an official "Trade" channel of some kind.

    I had the exact same issue occur to me yesterday. I was talking in Zone with all the AH/AD madness and ended up getting reported for spamming or something (cause it wasn't like everyone was spamming) and now pretty much rendered useless. Can't play the game at all since can't find a group for party and if you don't talk some groups boot ya out. Can't even send tells and had to log into a second client just to talk.

    Considering most bots/gold spammers will just create a new character this doesn't really seem to solve anything and really only Zone chat should be squelched not every chat.

    Instead of complaining that you got a chat ban, how about suggesting they actually limit the amount of chat in Zone that can be sent by one person. Like a 10 second delay between messages in Zone chat.

    I personally play a little mini-game in Protector's, I see how many spammers I can report. I have a nice sized ignore list now too.

    "NWOtrade" is the closest to an official trade channel we have, I'd advise against using "trade" as that's Champions Online trade for the most part (and has been for 3 years).

    Yep...You can't fix stupid.

    There should be a way to sell items for something other than astral diamonds without spamming it in chat. Maybe add gold and glory as choices in AH. Or have a Trade Listing if you want to trade. Or some tough love and make keys and glory non-trade.

    Funny thing -I noticed that some of the spam are nim rods trying to alert everyone to their wonderful item they posted on the AH. Like anyone with a couple brain cells doesn't realize we have an AH.

    The AH has a glut of items on it now anyway. The prices are dropping because of it. If people are still posting greens they might as well not waste their time. Even most blues have become so common they don't sell. Never mind about the leveling being so fast with no reincarnation that most blues are useless within minutes. Purples don't seem so rare any more as well.

    Nope, people need to realize that trying to sell or trade something on zone chat is more of a waste of time and a big belly ache than any small perceived profits made from it. Use the forum if you want something other than Astral Diamonds, or settle for astral diamonds and use the AH.

    I know of a few people who ignore anyone selling or buying and anyone posting more than one at a time. Including ads for guilds. So they can have a calmer zone chat and maybe see that post for help or call for a group.

    Is the potential for a couple of keys more valuable than the huge risk you will have of losing your chat privileges? If you are over the age of 12 your answer is most likely ..no

    That's ridiculous. Glory is so easy to win in PvP, and the items to use it on are limited I seriously doubt many would assume you are an AFKer because you have extra.

    for one thing these guys at neverwinter need to make a grandexchange on neverwinter like runescape has there would not be as much spamming and if you had a set value for everything you could fix the spamming and economy there for getting back on track and once thats done you could make sure that everything is fair and neverwinter wouldnt have so many complaners which people do have a right to compane 2013 june 23
